Financial institutions in Australia have a new set of regulations to comply with by October 2021: Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO). According to the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC), it “requires firms to design financial products to meet the needs of consumers and distribute their products in a more targeted manner”.
