Gayathri Jyothirmai
Gayathri is a first year computer science student with a passion for AI/ML, web development and innovation, and she aspires to work with Zafin. She has achieved the national startup superstar award and participated in I-IFT Startup Competition from Iowa State university. She has impressive accomplishments from Stanford, university of Toronto and has received multiple certifications from ISRO, Microsoft, Google, and others. She has also completed academic research on the Role of AI in Psychology and Cognitive science. She has interned with MouseBiz and Globalshala in partnership with Illinois Tech USA
Rayna Esther Felix
Pursuing her Masters in Engineering at the University of Birmingham, Dubai, Rayna is a UAE Golden Visa winner on educational merit. She did her BSc. in programming & Data science from IIT Madras and is well-known for her Olympiad gold medals and commitment to technology. She is the student ambassador at the University and has taken part in various volunteering activities there with organizations including Heroes of Hope.
Katherine Ram
From Queens University in Kingston, Katherine Ram is a third-year student pursuing her Bachelor’s of Engineering, specializing in AI. On the Dean’s List for both her freshman and sophomore year, she has already served as a teaching assistant for the university’s Computer Science program and a co-op student with Toronto’s Mount Sinai hospital. She has diverse professional experiences as a Program facilitator, a website manager and more, and is only at the start of her career.
Stephanie Quon
Stephanie has pursued multiple internship opportunities while studying at the University of British Columbia, including Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Medtronic in addition to serving as a research assistant. She has multiple presentations and publications in her name. She received UBC Wesbrook and Sherwood Lett Memorial Premier Scholarship in 2023 as well as the Engineers Canada Gold Medal Award and various other engineering academic awards. She is also the founder and Executive Director of The Sprouts Initiative, an organization that works prevent waste, feed the hungry and support the community.
Krishnendu Manoj
Krishnendu is pursuing a 5-year integrated MSc. in computational physics at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, and her aspirations are more attached to research and serving the country by getting into DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation) by clearing the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam. She is keen on education and its merits and has completed multiple certifications in various fields.
Ali Adwen Awil
Ali is pursuing his bachelor’s in computer science with a co-op in Data Science from the University of Ottawa. He has previously interned with Zafin as a co-op student where he used LLMs to develop customer chatbots and researched on the use of OpenAI and other LLMs in financial project management lifecycle. He was on the Dean’s List for every semester and was the entrance scholarship recipient for outstanding academics. He has also volunteered for Connected Canadians, mentoring seniors on the best use of tech.
