About Aspire & Achieve scholarship program

We provide a scholarship program tailored to high-achieving engineering and STEM students, organized into two distinct categories:

Are you a meritorious Indian or Canadian tech student, eager to contribute to our future growth?

We are seeking tech students to work with us to enhance our operations and contribute to our future growth by bringing in innovation, creativity and passion.

In particular, we are looking to offer four scholarships to meritorious students currently enrolled in a college in Canada or India pursuing a Master’s (1st or 2nd year) or Bachelors program (3rd or 4th year) in Engineering.

We will award recipients of the scholarship USD 5000 to empower their education and career development.

Applicants must either hold citizenship or permanent residency status in the India or Canada or have a valid student visa

Academic achievement

Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited university or college undergraduate or master’s engineering program, entering the third or fourth year of a four-year degree program. Additionally, candidates should maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent at the time of application

Applicants must be enrolled in one of the qualifying engineering programs

Women pursuing select STEM courses at the undergraduate or graduate level in India or Canada

We are actively seeking talented women in STEM to work with us towards advancing our operations and shaping the future of banking. Creative thinking is crucial for driving progress, and we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive work environment where women’s contributions make a difference.

Applicants should display a dedicated commitment to community service, volunteerism, or leadership roles within their community, university, or college, as well as engagement in extracurricular activities. Priority will be accorded to candidates currently pursing STEM-related courses and those who can exemplify a strong dedication to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion through their involvement, leadership, and enthusiasm for their chosen STEM field

Selection Process

The Zafin scholarship committee will review all online applications

Candidates will be evaluated based on the eligibility criteria, their resume/CV, written essay, official transcripts from all post-secondary educational institutions and submission of at least one letter of recommendation

Candidates who make it to the shortlist may receive an invitation for an in-person or virtual interview with the Zafin scholarship committee

Those selected for the scholarship will receive a notification by email and must confirm their acceptance of the award within two weeks of the notification
